Sorry for the radio silence! It's SO hard to blog here where my Internet access is sketchy and my time is short. I'm once again mobile.
Here are some pics of our RV set up at my in-laws house. My FIL rigged up a plug that's taped to a fence. That's right. You read that correctly. A plug is running from the barn and is taped to a fence. We have warned the kids away but it's not exposed or anything. Just not a good idea to mess with.
Confession time: I think it's pretty frowned on in the RV world but it is done sometimes...we're just running our grey water house out and letting it run on the ground. It's just sink/shower water so nothing horrible...there, that's my confession. At least we're not running the pee out. Foy wanted to but I threw a fit. How unsanitary! We have a no poop rule on the RV that so far has not been broken. No pooping in the RV unless it's an emergency. And I mean an EMERGENCY.
Our water hookup is just the water hose ran from their outside hookup.
They have a concrete area where they started a carport that never got finished. We have the RV MOSTLY on there. It's not a bad setup.
I've really been testing the metal of the hot water heater. I wanted to see if it was gonna hold up to my Mom, brother, and all of us. I have been surprised and pleased. All of the kids bathed last night and then I took a good long shower. I think it refills itself very quickly.

Our hose connection. We have since added a 90 degree elbow. |

Our rigged up electrical outlet....it works! |

Close up of the plug. |

It's running along the fence from the barn which is further to the left of this pic. |

We take the awning out to help shade the sun from coming in so hard on this side. |

Shhhhh...our grey water going out into the pasture. So far it doesn't seem to be harming anything. |
