Another night, another RV park

I really wish we could have stayed longer here. Rushing around and through these parks is not my cup of tea...it's Foy's. We stayed in Twin Fountains RV Park last night. (www.twinfountainsrvpark.com) It is definitely resort-like. There were lots of different rigs (<--look at my cool RV talk) in the park. It had Wi-Fi, cable tv, a shuttle service, STORM SHELTER (somehow this made me really happy because of what recently went down in Oklahoma), laundry, showers, rally facilities (note to self: must find out what "rally" means in RV speak), swimming pool, fitness center, playground (multiple ones, the kids played on two of them I know), kiddy splash pad, spa, horseshoes, shuffleboard (how do you play that?), miniature golf, bike rentals (some super cool looking stuff!), pool tables and ping pong.

I also leaned you can make toast in a toaster that is hanging sideways by the cord. We are keeping a running list of things we need to get. Extension cord is now on it. Also, we didn't realize we had to provide our own cable cord. The last RV park sold us one for $10 BUT it wasn't long enough at this one. We are going to have to get a 50 foot one. It was ok because we didn't have time for cable anyways.

I love full hookups. I'm really not looking forward to being pulled up beside Foy's parents house. Ugh. We're gonna have to empty tanks instead of sewer hookups and there will be no cable, just digital antenna. I'm gonna make the best of it though. I was getting groceries last night so I missed getting pics of the kids playing and in the splash pool but I grabbed some pics this morning before we left.

I really feel like I'm learning a lot already. There is so much to know! I really like the quaint little homey touchies that RVers put on their home space. I didn't get a pic but the people next to us had a rug out and it looked real nice.
