Today started with Pepaw, King Bee, and the girls going to check the trotline. I was proudly informed that they caught two catfish and a gar. The gar was taken off the line as it had been dead too long (plus do you eat those? I assume you do since it's a fish....). I tried to wash some dishes from dinner last night and put some clothes that had been washed away. Ezra was super clingy as he often is. I managed to muddle through and my MIL came over to ask what we had in mind. I really wanted to get my hair touched up as my blue was fading especially around the edges...so I did.
Then KB and the girls joined us at the mall for lunch at Chick-fil-A and then we headed back home. The girls wanted to ride the 4-wheeler so of course we obliged (ok KB did.).

It was so hot. I know less skin showing is better but he needed the breeze. |

Time for some milkies. Nothing like a 4-wheeler ride and then some warm milk to make a baby happy. |

Gorilla Girl loves to read...even when it's dinner time and on vacation. |

I have never seen kids so proud to eat what they caught. Pepaw dressed their fish from the trotline and we ate them for dinner. Yum Yuuuuum. |

Everybody ate so much! Gorilla Girl is sure that the fish tasted better because 'she' caught it.

I use to buy this candy when I was a kid. It was my Grandma's fav. I grew up thinking of Divinity as a delicacy. It's a Southern tradition. This is made semi-locally too! It tasted super sweet and delicious. |
