We love JELLYSTONE CAMPGROUNDS!

I have so much to catch up on but for now I just want to start with today...and yesterday. We left Myrtle Beach two days ago (I think, Lord does the time start running together.) in a rain storm. The first night we spent in Wren, GA at Boss' RV Park which I highly recommend. It's off the beaten bath and the Wifi sucks (which I'm finding to be a common denominator minus this Jellystone park) but the people were so nice and helpful! It had a very homy feel and they went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed. We got to Bremen, GA about 2:30 yesterday. I had planned to stop and take a break around 3 pm which has been the norm for us and then drive on til about 5. I planned to stay in Alabama because we didn't stay there on our way here. We had stayed at this Jellystone Campground on our way to Savannah and we had got here so late we didn't get to enjoy it much and left the next morning. Well, when we got near it about 2:30 I said...ah, screw it...let's go ahead and stop for the night. The kids will have time to do some fun stuff like the pool and spray park and we'll get a good rest. I confess I wanted to check it out some more too. When I got to the office I saw they plan special fun things almost every hour for the kids on the weekend....so I paid for an extra night so we could have a whole day. It's my vacation dammit and I can do what I want. We got set up pretty quick. This park is amazing.

Yogi made an appearance and scared the beejuses out of Soph. She took off like a shot out of  a cannon and was screaming her head off the whole way poor baby. Yogi is NOT her fav person.

They have tortoises and you can pet them.

Gorilla Girl likes Monkey Boy to do everything.

They have awesome birds and reptiles.

The pool is great. It goes up to 4.5 ft at it's highest and it's lowest at 3.5 ft.

Sillies playing by the pool.

Sophie liked the pool ok but preferred the spraypark next door.

Kylie does a hand stand.

Cash is cool. Nuff said.

Sophie loves riding her bike around.

My camp set up. The people next door were impressed. The woman said I was inspiring her to drive their RV around. ;) The man said I seem like a pro, lol. I informed here I was learning 'trial by fire' way. I have got my self in a doozy of situations but that's another story.

The hayride was fun! So many fun things to do at a Jellystone Campground!!

Lesson Learned.

Queen Bee here. ;) We've had a few blog contributors lately so I wanted to clarify. To Gorilla Girl's post earlier, I wanted to say that we did have a leak issue that night. It was pouring rain. I've seriously never seen a solid rain like that. It was coming down in sheets not drips AND we weren't fully level as I was just planning to stay a night, at most two...anywho, apparently (lesson learned) if you aren't level and you have the slides out and it rains cats and dogs and your slides are slightly tilted where they point in due to your unlevelness....you will leak. It was sheer panic on my part for a few minutes. I wish I had a pic to show (I am a lover of the pics you know.) but I was panicking and grabbing every available bowl/pan to catch water. I started really panicking because I was like WHEN IS THIS GOING TO STOP and Puppy Girl calmly said, "Why don't we pull the slides in?"... So I  did and it worked. She's a quick study. We couldn't walk the length of the trailer with the slide in but it was ok because it was bed time anyways..and only one slide leaked (the largest one with the table/couch). I was worried this may be a trend even though we had weather a mild storm in it before this but it's rained since like EVERY DAY in Savannah and sometimes quite hard and there have been no issues so like I said....lesson learned.

The Shower Today

So I just got outta the shower and I saw that there is NO underwear and NO socks, like oh snap! So I'm walking around with just pants and shirt. It doesn't feel good either\ A true story written by Celtic Cracker, Tiny Terrors favorite uncle.

The Close Call!

This is gorilla girl speaking from Savannah, Georgia (yes, we made it) and the craziest thing happened in Clinton, Mississippi. It all started one drench - you - in - seconds rainy night and we grabbed our stuff and rushed inside(except there was really no point cause we were drenched, as I told you, in seconds) and when we were all back, horsey girl walked past the booth and talk/yelled, "It's leaking!" So we all went over and water was leaking from the ceiling! So Queen Bee went and grabbed pots to catch the drips and all of this went on till puppy girl said, "Pull in the slide in." so we did and it ended and we went to sleep peacefully. June 28 2013.
